FDA Warns of Suicide Risk with Common Antidepressants
FDA recently released a warning for antidepressants such as Effexor, Paxil and Zoloft. The warning is for suicidality, especially with adults taking these drugs for depression.
These drugs received a similar warning for use in children in March of 2005.

I hate to hear this news, I've been taking 30mg a day of Paxil since January 1997 and that is a pretty high dose considering they can be taken in 5mg and the most common 10mg doses. After having my last child my baby blues didn't leave so I was put on Paxil to help.
With the number of people taking these drugs, it is frightening to consider how long these warnings took to come out. Even more nerve rattling is waiting to see what other types of problems these drugs may have.
Be sure to work closely with your doctor to be put on the right medication and dosage.
